The first session of the 14th Jilin Provincial People's Congress concluded on Jan 18 in Changchun city, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, according to local media reports.

A total of 469 deputies participated in the proceedings.

The congress voted to approve the list of chief voters, deputy chief voters and scrutineers. The congress voted by secret ballot to elect 60 deputies from Jilin province to attend the 14th National People's Congress and Ding Zhongli, the representative candidate nominated by the central government, was elected.

The provincial people's congress passed a resolution on the work report of Jilin provincial people's government; a resolution on the implementation of Jilin province's 2022 national economic and social development plan, and the 2023 national economic and social development plan.
