The "Hydrogen-powered Jilin" action and the Da'an wind-based green hydrogen synthesis and ammonia integration demonstration project was officially launched in Northeast China's Jilin province as well as a launch event in Western Jilin (Da'an) Clean Energy Chemical Industrial Park on Oct 27.

With the deepening of the "Hydrogen-powered Jilin" action, by the output value of the province's hydrogen energy industry is expected to reach 10 billion yuan ($1.37 billion) by 2025, and by 2035, the output value is expected to reach 100 billion yuan.

The hydrogen energy industry is a strategic emerging industry. Jilin province plans to utilize the development of the hydrogen energy industry as an important engine for industrial transformation,upgrading and energy structure adjustment, as well as strive to develop a "North China Hydrogen Valley".
