Trucks manufacturer FAW Jiefang Automotive Co, a subsidiary of China's leading automaker FAW Group – located in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province – has fully resumed production, according to local media reports.

Faced with the COVID-19 epidemic, FAW Jiefang has rolled out a series of measures to ensure its safe output.

The company has implemented the grid management of office spaces, adding face recognition and automatic temperature measurement equipment at the entrance. It also conducts daily double detection sweeps for nucleic acid and antigen reagents for employees on duty.

At the same time, FAW Jiefang is actively assisting suppliers in Changchun to resume operations and the production resumption rate of its main suppliers has now reached 100 percent.

Striving for maximum effective epidemic prevention and control work, Changchun has made every effort to promote full industry production in the city.

As of May 5, some 95 percent of its large-scale companies had resumed operations.
