Among the key projects is the new CRRC Songyuan New Energy Industrial Base, which is expected to draw an investment of 45 billion yuan.

The project, to be developed by China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation and Jilin province, will be the second biggest industrial center for CRRC in Jilin province after completion.

The complex is expected to form a complete supply chain for the manufacturing of wind turbines, blades, generators, energy storage equipment and other equipment, with an annual output value of 40 billion yuan.

It is seen leading upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain to jointly build an industrial demonstration park, directly creating more than 4,000 jobs.

So far, Jilin province has started construction of 775 projects worth more than 50 million yuan each this year, involving a total investment of about 430 billion yuan.
