Jilin city shows off its stunning new coat of winter rime

Due to Jilin's unique natural conditions, the rime in the city lasts a long period of time – much to the delight of residents and visitors. Visitors explore the new winter wonderland bathed in rime in Jilin city, on Feb 22. In winter, mist from the Songhua's surface condenses in the form of frost which engulfs the surrounding branches when it's hyper cold, creating the natural phenomenon. [Photo provided to gojilin.gov.cn]
