Tonghua delegation reviews government work report

A delegation from Tonghua city, located in Northeast China's Jilin province, on Jan 24 attended the fifth session of the 13th Jilin Provincial People's Congress being held in the provincial capital of Changchun city, according to local media reports.

The Tonghua delegation held a plenary meeting to review the work report of the provincial government. 

The government work report for 2021 outlined the province's achievements over the past year. In 2021, its GDP increased by 6.6 percent, while its local fiscal revenue increased by 5.4 percent and the growth rate of residents' per capita disposable income kept pace with economic growth.

The report also put forward the province's development goals for 2022, according to which Jilin is expected to achieve GDP growth of 6 percent and fixed-asset investment growth of 7 percent.
