The fifth session of the 12th Jilin Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened on Jan 23 in Changchun – capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province – with the attendance of 402 CPPCC members.

Jiang Zelin, chairman of the CPPCC Jilin Committee, delivered the annual work report of the CPPCC Jilin Committee for the past year, reviewing the committee's achievements in 2021 and its plans for 2022.

The report summarized the main findings of the CPPCC in the past year in five areas and called for efforts in the construction of special consultation institutions and the all-round revitalization of Jilin province.
