Jilin province reports upswing in business entities in 2021

Northeast China's Jilin province recently reported that marked progress was made last year in developing its business environment.
It announced that registrations of over 3 million new business entities – ranging from sole traders, to family businesses and major companies – took place by the end of 2021, a year-on-year increase of 13.9 percent according to the Jilin news network.
The growth rate is understood to have ranked Jilin first in Northeast China and eighth in the country.
Moving forwards, plans are for the Jilin Provincial Department of Market Supervision and Administration to continue to focus on its three-year (2022-2024) action plan for cultivating and expanding the number of businesses.
It will focus on creating a high-quality business environment and guiding business entities to achieve high-quality development.
