Four projects developed by enterprises and institutions based in Northeast China's Jilin province won accolades at the 2020 National Science and Technology Awards, according to an announcement on Nov 3.

Among the four projects, two were led by Jilin-based enterprises and institutions, and two received help from Jilin-based enterprises and institutions.

A project by Jilin University focusing on the basic research of ultrafast laser micro-nano preparation of special optoelectronic devices won second place in the Natural Science Award category.

The Preparation Technology and Application of Solid Phase Blending Thermopolymer-based Hemp Fiber Composite Material Project by Changchun Bochao Auto Parts Co and Jilin University won the second place in the Science and Technology Progress Award category.
