Cooperation projects worth 196.2b yuan signed at CNEA Expo

A total of 111 international and domestic cooperation projects, with a total investment of more than 196.2 billion yuan ($30.33 billion), were signed at the recently concluded 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo), according to local media reports.
Among the projects, there were 98 contract projects, with total investment exceeding 117.1 billion yuan, an increase of 110.69 percent over the previous session.
The contracted projects focus on new energy and clean energy, new materials, medical and health care, green food and agricultural products processing, cultural tourism, automobile and parts processing, electronic information and high-tech, modern service industry and other fields.
The expo, held in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, on Sept 23-27, brought together 1,001 exhibitors from home and abroad.
Five activities including the 11th High-level Forum on Northeast Asia Cooperation and the second Northeast Asia Regional Cooperation Roundtable were held during the expo. The "Changchun Initiative" was also adopted and the "2021 Northeast Asia Business Cooperation Forum Consensus" was reached as well.
