A promotional event for autumn and winter Changbai Mountain tourism products was held in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province on Sept 15, highlighting the Dunhua-Baihe High-Speed Railway, according to local media reports.

The Dunhua-Baihe High-Speed Railway, running between Dunhua and Baihe in Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, is scheduled to open for business in the fourth quarter of the current year.

With the launch of the high-speed railway, the journey between Changchun and the Changbai Mountains will be shortened to two hours, which will greatly promote tourism to the mountains.  

To attract more tourists to the Changbai Mountains via bullet train, the scenic area will launch special tourism offers for the autumn and winter seasons.
