Changchun customs recently introduced 10 measures to back the 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo), which is set to open on Sept 23 in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province.

The measures will be implemented to promote supervision and services for the expo, and to ensure smooth customs clearance for participating merchants and exhibits, in accordance with COVID-19 prevention and control requirements.

Changchun customs will implement "port +" on-site rapid inspection and clearance.

It has formulated and issued the "Customs Clearance Notice for Entry Exhibits of the 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo" and a list of prohibitions and restrictions, providing exhibitors with detailed customs clearance guidelines.

During the expo, customs will dispatch personnel to the comprehensive service area of the Changchun International Convention and Exhibition Center to implement resident supervision of inbound exhibits and provide relevant consulting services.

Changchun customs will set up green channels for CNEA Expo exhibits and special windows for the expo at major ports, and give priority to customs procedures such as declaration, inspection, sampling, and testing.

The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade or its designated agency will provide the on-site customs with a bank guarantee for the general tax guarantee.

The 24-hour appointment clearance service and holiday clearance appointment service will be carried out, and the supervision procedures will be streamlined to facilitate the entry of special items.
