A total of 16 major enterprises based in Changchun New Area will showcase their latest sci-tech products and achievements at the 13th China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo), which will open on Sept 23, according to local media reports.

The booth for Changchun New Area covers a total of 360 square meters, with eight sections including the achievements of the new area, innovation and entrepreneurship, introduction of key projects, international cooperation, and its 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25).

Changchun New Area is the 17th state-level new area, and was approved by the State Council in February 2016.

In May this year, the construction of an innovation and entrepreneurship demonstration base in Changchun New Area became one of five national new areas to win recognition from the State Council.
