Jumping on a springboard is one of the favorite sports of traditional Korean women and is similar to seesawing.

A wooden holder is placed in the middle of a long board and two people standing on the opposite side of the board do various actions when they jump high with the help of the other's gravity.

Springboard jumping competitions were often held on festivals such as Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid Autumn Festival.

Korean women would be dressed in their traditional costumes and do actions like rotating and flipping when they jumped high.

The sport was selected as one of the first national intangible cultural heritage of China in 2006.
