China sent five satellites into planned orbits from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi province on Saturday.

The satellite Jilin-1 01B, Xingshidai-10 and three Jilin-1 Gaofen 03D satellites were launched by a Long March-2D rocket at 10:51 am (Beijing Time).

This was the 376th flight mission of the Long March rocket series, the launch center said.

Chang Guang Satellite Technology Co, the first commercial remote sensing satellite company in China, is the only company in Northeast China that has been selected in the 2020 China Unicorn Enterprises List.

Jilin-1 satellites are the company's core products. In the six years since its establishment, the company has successfully launched 28 Jilin-1 satellites into orbit via 11 launches. With the launch of the four Jilin-1 satellites, the number of Jilin-1 satellites in orbit will stand at 29.
