CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles resumes work
|CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co Ltd in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, resumed work on Feb 10, according to company reports.
To ensure staff's safety and the effective protection and control of the novel coronavirus, the company has made great efforts, company executives said.
The company established 13 work groups for the virus prevention and control -- led by the chairman -- and each group must report their work every day.
To date, no one in the company or its subsidiary corporations has been infected or suspected of being infected.
Staff members of the company will return to their work in batches, in order to reduce the risks of infection.
In the first week of Feb 10-14, only 40 percent of staff will resume work, according to company officials.
In addition, the company issued handbooks about prevention and control of the novel coronavirus, more than 70,000 N90 masks, as well as disinfectant and hand sanitizer to workers.
Officials said that the company will continue to expand purchasing channels and ensure the supply of such protective materials.
