Excitement is building as the 4th Snow and Ice Industry Expo (Jilin) and the 23rd Ice and Snow Tourism Festival (Changchun) gets set to open, according to the organizers.

They said the event will kick off at the Changchun International Conference & Exhibition Center in Changchun, Jilin’s provincial capital, on Dec 13.

It is being hosted by Jilin Provincial People’s Government and organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jilin Province, the Changchun municipal people’s government and the Changchun municipal culture radio, television and tourism bureau.

The event, running until Dec 17, aims to promote Jilin’s ice and snow industry and boost the province’s development into a world-class winter tourism destination.

During the event, live CS (Counter-Strike) games will be organized in snow fields, where participants can experience role play and teamwork, according to the organizers.
