Changchun Subway Line 8 is expected to be tested by the end of October in the capital city of Jilin province, the Information Office of the Changchun Municipal Government announced on Monday.

Stretching 13.3 kilometers, Changchun Subway Line 8 links North Ring Road Station and Guangtong Road Station, where passengers can transfer to line 1. It has 12 stations.

The total length of Changchun's metro network has reached 100.1 kilometers.
