The girl, nicknamed Tongtong, was diagnosed with mild cerebral palsy when she was three years old.

Tongtong's parents made a great effort to teach her to walk and read to help her communicate with others better and adapt to society more easily.

With the family's help, Tongtong can read, write and walk steadily.

"We feel relieved she can take care of herself and now our great wish is she can master a skill to support herself," Tongtong's father said. "It may be a long process, but it is a great happiness every time we make progress."

Now Tongtong has learned accounting, and can make some pastries independently.
