The Folk Art Museum of Jilin Province, covering 6,277 sq m, opened to the public in October 2014. The museum's exterior was designed in accordance with traditional Chinese paintings about mountains and rivers.

It features various sections for professionals, such as report and academic halls, and visitors such as exhibition areas, a service center and many rest places.
