A summit on China-Europe economic, trade and investment cooperation, which included a signing ceremony for the key projects of "2021 Chinese and Foreign Entrepreneurs Visiting Changchun" activity, was recently held in Changchun.

The event, held both online and offline, was themed on "Deepening China-Europe Strategic Cooperation on Peaking Carbon Dioxide Emissions and Achieving Carbon Neutrality, Accelerating the Green Transformation and Development of Changchun".

Executives of more than 80 European enterprises and institutions from Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Hungary, Russia, Finland, Denmark and other countries attended the summit online.

The summit was divided into discussion and sharing sessions and signing of key projects, especially project roadshows and city dialogues.

Participants discussed how to build a high-level and localized mode of international cooperation and investment promotion in Europe through lectures, online dialogues, featured introductions and case sharing.

Noting that Changchun has a huge potential for development, they said that China's commitment to peak carbon emissions by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2060 has brought more opportunities for China-Europe cooperation, and added that they were willing to achieve win-win results with Changchun.
