More projects to add vitality to Liaoyuan development

Sweltering heat didn't stop workers from doing their jobs on the project’s construction sites in Liaoyuan city, Northeast China's Jilin province.

In a pine seed industrial park in Dongfeng county of Liaoyuan, a cooperative project of Jilin and East China's Zhejiang province with an investment of 620 million yuan ($95.67 million), the relocation of power and communication lines and the construction of pile foundations are under way.

Since its inception at the end of March, the intelligent warehouse cold-chain logistics project of "China's Egg Valley" has made unrelenting efforts to promote the implementation scheduling. Four standardized factories have already been built up.

An automobile trade logistics town has completed the main part of the e-commerce building, and the interior finish of a second-hand car showroom is under construction.

Since May, Dongmeng village, a well-off model village, has planned to transform 54 residential buildings into guesthouses, or minsu, a popular hotel in rural tourism. The transformation project includes interior renovation and landscaping. Eight houses have since completed their makeovers, having opened on July 22.

In 2021, 316 projects with an investment of over 5 million yuan have been included in the construction list of Liaoyuan city, making up a total investment of 76.34 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 21.19 billion yuan.

By the end of June, 250 over-5-million-yuan projects had launched or resumed work, accounting for about 80 percent of the total.
