Liaoyuan Automobile Refitting Co Ltd has cooperated with the First Bethune Hospital of Jilin University to roll out China's first P2+ mobile biosecurity laboratory (mobile microbial detection vehicle), with the second vehicles, capable of a maximum daily detection capacity of 2,750 samples (equal to 27,500 testing objects according to the 1/10 mixed detection standard), recently coming to market.
The lab is a brand-new product that transplants all functions of a traditional PCR laboratory into a vehicle. It is designed to provide efficient and convenient microbial detection services for the public, and to meet the needs of regular nucleic acid testing for pandemic prevention and control.
The first generation of the vehicle can handle the testing of up to 1,375 samples, or 13,750 people per day, and the capability has been doubled in the second generation of products.
The design and manufacturing of the lab were strict on the general biosecurity requirements of the mobile laboratory (GB27421-2015), as well as the technical specifications for evaluating the mobile biosecurity laboratory (RB/T142-2018). The product was previously included in the 336th batch of road motor vehicle manufacturing enterprises and products announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Four mobile microbial detection vehicles were delivered to Altay in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uyghur autonomous region.
The lab has realized automatic control of temperature and humidity, and intelligent control of positive and negative pressure. In addition to the 7P on-board air conditioning system, it is also equipped with a resistance heating device, which can be used at minus 30 degrees. Both the air inlet and outlet are equipped with insect, rain and sand prevention devices, suitable for plateau and desert areas.
It is equipped with a 5G system and a high-definition pan tilt camera, to realize the real-time transmission of high-definition images and synchronous remote diagnosis.
The power supply system of the vehicles has been upgraded to respond to an emergency. When the power supply fails, the backup one will start automatically within 0.5 seconds to maintain the normal operation of basic equipment and ensure the safe evacuation of medical personnel. Key devices are equipped with an uninterrupted power supply, which guarantees the timely storage of computer data in case of power failure.
