At the north end of Tianchi is the Changbai Mountain Grand Waterfall, the only outlet of Tianchi. In such a gorgeous mountainous region with abundant water stored on its peak, it is never a big surprise to find waterfall clusters.

The waterfall is about 68 meters high and its roar can be heard as far as 200 meters away. What makes the waterfall more appealing are the dragon-like trails built next to it, with its surrounding unique black volcanic rocks and ground as a backdrop. These trails are now closed for safety concerns and environmental protection, but all visitors who get close to the waterfall will still find the relics of the trails.
