Baicheng city sows seeds for autumn harvest

By the Taoer River rice transplanting is moving into top gear. Farmers are busy working in the paddy fields that bank the river. The transplanting of rice seedlings is expected to be completed by the end of this mouth to prepare for the autumn harvest.

The paddy cultivation area occupies a large part of the land in Baicheng city, Northeast China's Jilin province, and rice is one of the main crops in the region.
