On June 21, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism unveiled 30 red tourism tour routes at a red tourism promotion activity, which has the theme of "Staying True to Original Aspiration, Keeping Party Mission on Shoulders” and was held in Tonghua city, Jilin province.

The routes highlight the history of the Communist Party of China, the inheritance of the great revolutionary spirit of the older generations, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45), and a tribute to revolutionary martyrs, with a focus on features of different cities in Jilin province.

Sightseeing tours are also included in the tourism project to show the highlights to be seen across the province, as well as the urban renewal areas, including the routes lauded as "beautiful countryside in the new era", "charming border city", "lucid waters and wetland" route, "azalea blossoms on revolutionary land", "forest sea and snow plain", "red marks and snow township" and "building a sci-tech power".
