Chagan Lake in Northeast China's Jilin province has entered the peak summer travel season. The rush will last until Sept 19 with copious transits of travelers.
Chagan Lake is one of the 10 biggest freshwater lakes in China. In recent years, the ecological environment of the lake has been enhanced with the implementation of water quality improvement projects.
Cultural tourism promotion activities themed "Green development for a better life" were held at the Songyuan Mass Art Center in Songyuan city, Northeast China's Jilin province to mark China Tourism Day which falls on May 19.
