Cultural tourism promotion activities themed "Green development for a better life" were held at the Songyuan Mass Art Center in Songyuan city, Northeast China's Jilin province to mark China Tourism Day which falls on May 19.

The event was kicked off with a dance performance showing the development of tourism in Songyuan through colorful music, dance, folk art, recitations and other artistic forms.

In recent years, the city's tourism has developed rapidly, which has stimulated the its economic growth and at the same time had a profound impact on its social culture and humanistic environment.

Songyuan will continue to promote and organize ,more such activities to stimulate the people's enthusiasm for tourism and give full play to the positive role of the tourism industry in expanding domestic demand, promoting employment, inheriting culture and improving quality.
