Ninety percent of the damaged roads in the Chagan Lake scenic area in Songyuan city have been repaired, with only one section to be renovated upon the completion of the plank road, according to a project director.

The renovation project plans to build 12 environmentally friendly public toilets, more than half of which have been completed and put into service. The basic design of a tourist service center for the fishing and hunting has also been finished.

To date, a number of projects, such as a tourist transfer center, the Chagan Lake ecological water shore, the Andai Road slow traffic system, and the Chagan Lake parking lot, have resumed construction. Hotels, restaurants, homestays and other businesses in the scenic area have reopened to the public with continuous preparations for pandemic prevention and control.
