The 2022 China Changchun Summer Relaxation Festival opened on July 3 in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, at the Changchun World Sculpture Park, with a wide range of activities being staged, according to local media reports.

Changchun city launched the festival in 2007 to introduce the summer resort to more people and to boost other industries through a vigorous expansion of tourism.

The festival aims to show the beautiful and dynamic face of Changchun to the world. It also aims to help improve its tourism sector.
