Northeast China's Jilin province reported 895 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 131 asymptomatic carriers on March 13, the provincial health commission said on Monday.
Of the newly confirmed infections, 453 were reported in the city of Jilin, while 430 were reported in the provincial capital of Changchun, with one case in critical condition.
At present, vegetables, fruit, meat and other daily necessities in Changchun are said to be sufficient and stable, and major markets have undertaken measures to ensure their continued supply.

Financial support has also been given to local enterprises, facilitating the fight against the virus.
The Changchun Supply and Marketing Cooperative received an urgent notice about the availability of materials for epidemic prevention and control in Changchun on March 11 and immediately contacted the Jilin branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) for support.
The branch quickly opened a fast-track channel for enterprises and completed the entire process from account opening to fund disbursements in less than 24 hours. The 7 million yuan ($1.1 million) "anti-epidemic loan" fund was credited to the company's account the next day.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the ICBC Jilin branch has provided some 200 million yuan in funding support to more than 30 small and micro-sized enterprises, related to epidemic prevention in the province.
