Changchun teacher promotes matouqin on campus

Bao Hailong is an art teacher at the Nanguan District West Fifth Primary School in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, where he promotes the matouqin, or morin khuur, a traditional Mongolian bowed string instrument. [Photo provided to gojilin.gov.cn]

Bao plays the matouqin on campus. Bao was born in Tongliao, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region. He is currently the art instructor for the primary school's Matouqin Art Association, which was established in 2019. [Photo provided to gojilin.gov.cn]
