The first Space Science and Application Industrialization and Standardization Forum was recently held in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, according to local media reports.

The forum was hosted by the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and organized by the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of CAS.

The forum invited Gu Yidong, the chief expert in space science of China's manned space engineering and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to give a special report.

Experts and scholars in other related fields were invited to share on topics such as space science and application industrialization, marketization, internationalization, and quality control.

Due to the epidemic, this forum was held simultaneously online and offline, and had more than 2,000 participants.
