Seventy key projects worth more than 50 million yuan ($7.73 million) announced their inception in Baishan city, Jilin province, with a total investment of 15.04 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 4.98 billion yuan.

These projects give priority to leading industries, are boosters for upgrading and transformation, and topics of public concern. Upon completion, the projects will further drive local economy, optimize the industrial development environment, and add momentum to regional development.

This year, to date, 151 projects worth 50 million yuan have started or resumed construction in Baishan, with a total investment of 50.83 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 12.13 billion yuan.
