Students and teachers from Jilin International Studies University came together on Sept 10 to celebrate the 39th Teachers' Day at the campus, located in Changchun city, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province. 

Representing China, Russia, Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea and many other countries, they expressed their best wishes in 22 different languages – including Chinese, English, Japanese, French, Korean, Russian and Spanish.

The celebration was said to not only demonstrate the students' linguistic abilities, but also their respect and gratitude towards their educators.

It also served as a timely reminder of the invaluable role that teachers play in shaping the future generations.
