Jilin province in Northeast China has made marked progress in innovation-oriented development, with its comprehensive scientific and technological innovation index increasing by 15.09 percentage points over the past decade.

According to the report 2022 Nature Index – Science Cities, the capital of Jilin province, Changchun, ranked 35th in the global top 100 cities for scientific research. It ranked 14th in China and was first among the three northeastern provinces.

It is widely said that to grasp innovation is to grasp development – and that to seek innovation is to seek the future.
