The Tiedong district of Siping city, located in Northeast China's Jilin province, recently launched activities for its new ice and snow season which will run to Feb 23, according to local media reports.

The Wanda Ice and Snow World, located in front of the Wanda Plaza, has reportedly become a prime photo shoot location, with a 100-meter-long ice and snow slide set up, as well as 30 chubby snowmen now taking pride of place.

With the Beijing 2022 Winter Games approaching next month, Siping has organized ice and snow sports events for its kids.
