The eighth World Jilin Entrepreneurs Convention kicked off in Changchun, capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province, on July 20.

During the conference, 98 cooperative projects and agreements were signed, with a combined investment of 158.94 billion yuan ($22.17 billion). These projects cover various sectors, including automotive, agricultural product processing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, cultural tourism, equipment manufacturing, new materials, and new energy.

Over the past seven years, the number of Jilin businessmen worldwide has increased from 1.5 million to 3 million since the first session was held. Currently, there are 105 Jilin business organizations operating both locally and internationally.

Businessmen from Jilin have invested almost 500 billion yuan in their hometown over the last three years, with landed funds reaching 100 billion yuan. Additionally, they have generously donated over 6 billion yuan to various public welfare projects.

The Jilin Entrepreneurs Convention has become a crucial platform for promoting international cooperation and investment. With the recent agreements signed, Jilin is now poised to strengthen its position as an attractive investment destination and accelerate its economic growth.
