Jilin delegation participates in China-Africa trade expo

Northeast China's Jilin province actively participated in the third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, displaying the achievements and long-term planning of its economic and trade cooperation with Africa through various exhibitions, on June 29.

The expo opened in Changsha, Central China's Hunan province. Some 53 African countries that have established diplomatic relations with China, as well as eight international organizations, Representatives from 30 domestic provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, and more than 1,500 central enterprises, business associations, and financial institutions participated in the events.

The expo featured a variety of activities, including major events and high-level forums, with more than 30 events in five categories.

The Jilin delegation actively engaged with African countries and organizations to explore opportunities for economic and trade cooperation, with six major sectors highlighted – its trade with Africa, project contracting with Africa, aid to Africa, investment in Africa, agricultural cooperation, and medical care.

Through the expo, Jilin province aims to expand its presence in the African market, promote investment and trade, strengthen cooperation in various sectors, and contribute to the deepening friendship and mutual benefit between Jilin province and African countries.

The delegation's participation in the expo is a testament to Jilin's commitment towards advancing economic and trade cooperation with Africa and further deepening bilateral relations for mutual development and prosperity.
