Jilin city in Northeast China's Jilin province has confirmed 31 major projects for the current year, with a total investment of 57.84 billion yuan ($8.69 billion), according to local media reports.
To date, 10 cultural and tourism projects have resumed construction this year, with a total project operating rate of 32.2 percent. The remainders of the projects are understood to be gradually resuming construction as planned.
The main apartment building of the Beidahu Resort Town project has been completed and electromechanical installation is in progress. After the project is completed, it will become a world-class ski resort town integrating branded hotels, commercial premises and serviced apartments.
Elsewhere, the construction of six apartments in the first phase of the Beidahu Winter Olympic Village project has been completed.
The Beidahu National Snow Training Base Project plans to complete the construction of a training hall and the main body of the apartment block this year. After completion, it will provide a professional snow sports training venue for national athletes.
Furthermore, the Shanshui Yunjian Daohuaxiang Cultural Tourism Project has completed six major sections, including nature sightseeing, parent-child interaction facilities, flower viewing and outdoor camping facilities.
Plans are to officially open it to the public in mid-to-late June. Moving forwards, the intention is that it will be developed as a comprehensive urban pastoral tourism complex – integrating functions such as agricultural sightseeing, natural science popularization, parent-child fun activities, summer vacations and leisure.
