The company, based in Jilin city, in Northeast China's Jilin province, has been picking up the pace of its operations to get to maximum output as soon as possible, in the wake of the improvement in novel coronavirus outbreak conditions.

During the three-month period, its output value was 4.04 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 23 percent. Fiber sales came in at 162,000 metric tons, a year-on-year increase of 14 percent.

In Q1, the output of raw silk, carbon silk and composite materials hit a record.

That's been done in accordance with official requirements promulgated by Jilin province.

The company organized an epidemiological investigation of employees quarantined at home and organized for staff members to come back in an orderly manner, in batches under the province's work resumption plan.
