With the approach of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the Beishan Four Seasons Ski Park in Jilin, Jilin province, is welcoming professional cross-country ski teams with open arms for training.

The indoor ski park, covering more than 25,000 square meters, is the first of its kind in Asia and the fourth worldwide to offer all-weather, standardized cross-country ski training.

The temperature in the facility is maintained at -7 C throughout the year.

A 1,308-meter professional ski run that closely mimics undulating cross-country conditions is maintained by state-of-the-art snow-making systems.

It is one of the major training venues being set up for national athletes planning to participate in the Games, as well as a way to encourage more people to take up winter sports as interest in the Games grows.
