After several years of not being home for Chinese New Year, Mr Zhang made a special trip back this year and was greeted with a festive surprise on the train.

"When I saw the red lanterns hanging on the train and the staff members performing wonderful songs and dances, the festive spirit immediately filled the air. The high-speed rail service really warms the hearts of passengers," Zhang said on Feb 7, as he boarded train C1307 from Changchun to Changbai Mountain.

The train was adorned with traditional Chinese New Year decorations such as paper-cuttings, "Fu" characters, floral arrangements, and lanterns. The train attendants also organized a special "Spring Festival Train Gala" that allowed passengers to experience a unique New Year celebration on their way to Changbai Mountain.

The C1307 train from Changchun to Changbai Mountain takes only 2 hours and 24 minutes one way, with stops at Jilin, Dunhua, and Yongqing stations.  

On that day, 36 children and elderly passengers boarded the train at Changchun station. The train conductor, Li Huanan, carefully checked on key passengers and their locations, provided safety instructions, and inquired about their needs. This thoughtful and meticulous service received unanimous praise from the passengers.
