A leopard cub has been rescued and is now staying at the Changbai Mountain Wildlife Rescue Station in Northeast China's Jilin province, according to local media reports.
The cub, a national second-class protected animal, is a male and it is not yet a month old.

Staff members at the rescue station will check its health, feed it with skim goat milk powder and add some anti-inflammatory drugs and prebiotics to boost its physical condition.
After five months, when it can hunt independently, it will be released into the wild.
