In celebration of the Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year, the Cambodia China Journalist Association visited Northeast China's Jilin province on July 31, under the auspices of the Jilin Provincial Foreign Affairs Office and the Cambodian Jilin Chamber of Commerce.

The journalist association, composed of experienced media professionals from the Cambodian Chinese and Khmer media, is widely said to have significantly contributed to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the two nations – earning praise from both Chinese and Cambodian authorities in the process.

The delegation visited the Jilin Radio and Television Station, including its high-definition studio and intelligent all-media center. The delegates gained insights into the production of premium programs by Jilin Daily, Jilin Radio and Television Station and the China Jilin network.

Both parties discussed media cooperation, cultural highlights, tourism resources, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges.

They expressed a mutual desire to use the cultural exchange year as a springboard to deepen cooperation across various fields and foster a new era of cultural exchanges between Cambodia and Jilin province, contributing to the China-Cambodia community with a shared future.

Over the past five years, the association has organized numerous seminars and forums, bringing together experts and officials to discuss topics like China-Cambodia and China-US relations. What's more, it has led journalist delegations to various Chinese provinces, boosting bilateral exchanges and earning high recognition.
