The bustling scenes of people enjoying their leisure and vacation throughout the province were due to its sustained efforts to help the tourism market recover.

Prior to this, the Jilin Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism held promotional events in eight provinces, cities and districts, luring more people to the province. Various cities in Jilin signed tourism cooperation agreements with Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, and Harbin.

During the Dragon Boat Festival, Jilin welcomed 922,000 visitors from outside the province, accounting for 18.56 percent of all tourists, an increase of 3.3 percentage points from the same period last year.

Various cities across the province prepared an array of carefully planned holiday tourism programs, offering more than 130 tourism routes, and over 110 cultural tourism festival activities.
