Heading into the Year of the Rabbit, Northeast China's Jilin province is embracing a buoyant and festive atmosphere. International friends from Egypt and Russia, among others, have embarked on new experiences amid the upbeat mood there. They spent the traditional Chinese festival joining in activities – including writing couplets, making dumplings, watching fireworks shows and sampling local delicacies.
