The entrance fee of the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area is 105 yuan per person, with five-day validity. Besides the entrance ticket, there are sightseeing buses arranged inside the scenic area which can take you to the best scenery there, at speed. Extra charges are needed for these sightseeing buses.

A regular bus charges 85 yuan per person. And if the touring route covers the scenic spots of the North Slope, a ticket worth 80 yuan per person for a special transfer by 7-seat jeep or 10-seat van will be needed. Due to the winding mountain road, the transfer is non-stop on the way to avoid rear-end collisions. It is suggested that tourists who are subject to carsickness should take appropriate medication in advance.

On May 19 every year, the scenic area is free to the public, and only the fees for the traffic area must be paid.

The current ticketing policy of Changbai Mountain Scenic Area includes a real-name system, day-parting allocation, and online booking. Tourists can reserve tickets in advance on the official website, WeChat official account and mobile App of the scenic area. Paper tickets are also provided at the authorized outlets.

The number of tickets available for each period is as follows:

Tourists must submit valid certificates (including ID cards, passports, travel permits to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, military service certificates and temporary ID cards) to enter the scenic area. Paper tickets are not required to be shown.
