Hunjiang and Jiangyuan districts in Baishan city – located in Northeast China's Jilin province – launched a COVID-19 nucleic acid test drill for all residents and employees on March 19, according to local media reports.
Hunjiang district officials took the streets, villages and communities as their units to quickly count and determine the nucleic acid test population and focused on an investigation of the migrant population.
A total of 257 test sites were set up in the district and 4,342 medical workers conducted nucleic acid tests of 299,000 people in the district.
For its part, Jiangyuan district set up 154 sampling points and more than 520 medical workers conducted COVID-19 tests of people there.
