The Baishan News Media Center was officially launched in Baishan, Northeast China's Jilin province, on Oct 12, in order to boost media convergence, according to local media reports.

As the first municipal-level media convergence pilot city in Jilin province, Baishan completed its municipal-level media convergence reform in 10 months.

With the launch of the Baishan News Media Center, Baishan will strengthen the mainstream public opinion position, and achieve deep integration of the media.
